Privacy notice for The Take (التيك), MOND practice sessions

What we collect when you apply

Your name, WhatsApp number, email, business name, a line on the business, your role in it, what you want to practise, and the review decision. If you are accepted and pay: a payment reference and your attendance. Card payments go through Stripe; your card details never reach us.

We use them so a member of our team can read your application and decide on it (a person decides, not an automated system), then to run the session and send the details, the prices and the receipt on WhatsApp and email.

Filming

We film the on-camera speaking exercises so you get your own clip. Filming is entirely optional: we film you only if you agree to filming, and you can attend and take full part without being filmed. You get a different-coloured badge so the crew knows not to film you, and we cut or blur any shot that still shows you.

How clips are used

You decide, through separate consents, each with its own unticked box:

• (A) filming you to make your own clip, which we send to you;
• (B) using your image and voice in promotion of MOND and Fouad Nasseredin;
• (C) receiving MOND marketing messages;
• (D) transferring the clips and application data to servers outside Egypt.

Your data is not added to MOND's sales lists, and we send you no marketing message without consent (C).

Where it is kept

Raw footage is kept on an encrypted drive in Cairo, then on Google servers in the Netherlands; application data is kept on Google servers in the United States, messages pass through Meta (WhatsApp) and card payments through Stripe in Ireland and the United States, with your consent (D). If you do not agree to (D), our team contacts you by hand and your clips stay on the Cairo drive only.

Retention

Raw footage is deleted 30 days after the session. We delete our copy of your own clip 90 days after we deliver it. Promotional clips (if you agreed) stay while your consent stands, for at most 3 years. If your application is not accepted or you do not pay, we delete it 90 days after the session date.

If you stop after the first step of the form, we keep only your name, WhatsApp number and email to follow up on your application, send you no marketing because of it, and delete them after 30 days if you do not finish.

Withdrawing consent

Withdraw any consent at any time by writing to hello@getmond.com or by replying "withdraw consent" to MOND's WhatsApp messages. We stop any new use at once and remove clips from channels we run within 7 days. We cannot recall copies others have shared or ads already shown before you withdrew, but we will not publish them again.

Your rights and contact

You may ask why your application was or was not accepted and ask for it to be looked at again, and you have every right set out in the privacy policy (/privacy); we reply within 6 working days. Data protection officer: Fouad Nasseredin, at hello@getmond.com.
